BEDFORD — Finance Committee approves $97,900 library elevator repair. The Bedford Finance Committee voted unanimously on January 8 to authorize a reserve fund transfer for an unanticipated piston failure in the library elevator, with Ron Scaltreto, Director of Facilities, requesting the funds. Director of Planning Tony Fields presented the FY27 budget, which remains level funded from the prior year.
The committee also discussed the need for updated financial models and an upcoming meeting calendar, with Vice Chair Philip Prince assigned to follow up with Town Manager Hanson on both matters.
