BEDFORD — Fire Station Building Committee approves $32,358.47 change order for six project modifications. Chair Jeff Cohen and seven committee members unanimously backed the bundled change order (moved by Angelo Colasante, seconded by James Bailey), which covers earth support obstructions, additional electrical conduits, utility excavation reconciliation, training tower bailout window, traffic signal, and permitting delays. Structural steel contractor G&R has completed 75 percent of steel installation with second-floor metal decking work scheduled for early February.

The approval extends substantial completion from end of November 2026 to the second week of December 2026.
