Bedford home sales top $2 million twice in September deed filings
The South Middlesex Registry of Deeds recorded 20 Bedford property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3. Eleven carried sale prices ranging from $558,000 to $2,110,000, with a median of $1,220,000; the other nine have no price on file yet. The month's top sale was 7 Davis Rd at $2,110,000, sold by Sheila and Vassilios Vamvas to Alexa and Brian M. Card, narrowly ahead of 6 Lane Ave at $2,100,000. Nine deeds, nearly half the month's total, involved transfers within the same family or into a personal trust rather than sales to new owners.
