Bedford Home Sale Prices Cluster Tightly Around $950,000 Median In August

Nineteen properties changed hands in Bedford between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, according to South Middlesex Registry of Deeds records, though only nine transactions disclosed a sale price. Those nine ranged from $690,000 to $1,375,000, with a median of $950,000. The period's top sale was a condominium at 36 Loomis St., Unit 201, which sold for $1,375,000 on Aug. 26. Eight of the 19 recorded transfers appear to move property within the same family or into a trust held by the prior owners, none disclosing a price. With no disclosed sales below $690,000 and most falling between $500,000 and $1 million, the data shows steady, limited market-rate activity for the month.
