Springs Brook Park open for summer as Bedford Youth Soccer launches fall uniform store ahead of the holiday week.

BEDFORD -- With Independence Day falling midweek, Bedford's summer sports and recreation calendar shifted into a quieter rhythm the week of June 29. No high school athletic contests were scheduled, and youth lacrosse's spring season concluded earlier in June. The action was mostly in planning and registration.

TOWN

Springs Brook Park is open for its 2026 season, with annual memberships and swim lessons available through the Bedford Recreation Department. Families can register online or at the Recreation Department office at 12 Mudge Way. As of June 19, swim lesson registration moved exclusively to in-person sign-up at Springs Brook Park. The KA Tennis weather and cancellation hotline remains available at 781-275-7907 for inclement weather updates.

Summer Adventures and other spring and summer youth programming registration is also open; a full brochure is available through the Recreation Department.

YOUTH LEAGUES

Bedford Youth Soccer announced June 19 that the Fall 2026 Travel Soccer Uniform Store is now open for families whose players will need new uniforms for the upcoming season. Details are available on the Bedford Youth Soccer website.
