Bedford Recreation's fall program registration went live this week, and Bedford Youth Lacrosse announced plans for its Bedford Day parade appearance next month.

TOWN -- Bedford Recreation's 2026 Fall Program Brochures are out, and fall registration opened online this week at bedfordrecreation.org. The department's youth and adult brochures are both posted on its website, covering the department's slate of fall classes and activities for all ages.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Bedford Youth Lacrosse is preparing to take part in this year's Bedford Day, set for Saturday, Sept. 19. The organization is inviting members to join its parade contingent, meeting at 10 a.m. on DeAngelo Drive off Loomis Street ahead of a 10:30 a.m. parade start that ends at the Bedford Police Station. BYL said it will provide pom-poms, necklaces, cowbells and candy for marchers, and will also staff a booth at the event offering free face painting, giveaways, discounted BYL gear, a look at player uniforms and registration information for its boys and girls programs, which run grades 1-8.
