Zoning Board grants porch permit on Riverside Avenue; demolition case continues.

BEDFORD — Zoning Board of Appeals approves porch addition on Riverside Avenue with condition. The Board unanimously granted a Special Permit to Alissa Popovich at 23 Riverside Avenue to construct a covered porch within the non-conforming side yard setback under Sections 6.2 and 6.3 of the Zoning Bylaw, on condition the structure remain unenclosed. Acting Chair Angelo Colasante noted the Board found the proposal consistent with Bylaw intent and not detrimental to the neighborhood.
The Board also unanimously continued Petition 008-26 for Excellence Development Company, LLC, at 35-37 Neillian Street to the February 12 meeting at the applicant's request.
