Zoning Board continues Zou variance hearing to May 14
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of April 23, 2026
BEDFORD — The Bedford Zoning Board of Appeals continued a variance hearing and discussed a potential two-family home project. Chair Thomas P. Flannery and members Angelo Colasante, Lucille Wilson, R.
Jeffrey Dearing, and Karl Winkler voted unanimously to postpone the hearing for applicant Ling Zou at 11 Hayden Lane to May 14, 2026 at 7:00 PM. During a business meeting, contractor Chris Meyer, introduced by resident Jennifer Carroll, presented preliminary plans to demolish an existing single-family house at 371 Concord Road and construct a two-family home in its place. Board members affirmed that two-family houses are now allowed by right in all residential districts subject to 10 percent maximum lot coverage and confirmed the project must meet all setback and zoning bylaw requirements before formal application.
