Zoning Board approves garage and porch at 7 Hunt Road.
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of February 26, 2026
BEDFORD — Zoning Board of Appeals approves two permits and modifies prior variance for accessory building at 7 Hunt Road. Chair Thomas P. Flannery and members Angelo Colasante, Lucille Wilson, R.
Jeffrey Dearing, and Kay Hamilton unanimously granted a Special Permit for a one-and-a-half-story garage with storage over 600 square feet on a non-conforming lot, positioning it 8.2 feet from the side property line, and approved a front porch overhang within the existing front yard setback with the condition it remain unenclosed. The Board modified the 1953 variance to allow the new structure closer than the 10-foot conforming setback, conditioned on retention of mature trees over six inches in diameter along the property line except where directly in line with the garage or driveway.
