Bedford's Tricentennial Committee formally establishes 501(c)(3) nonprofit structure to guide anniversary planning. Committee Chair Ronald Richter and members approved a calendar of commemorative events including a slogan contest to debut at Bedford Day, trunk or treat, fire and police muster, wellness week activities, and a New Year's Eve family event. Richter will draft a letter launching the slogan contest for committee review, while Peter Ricci and Goodhue, the newly named 501(c)(3) president, will finalize sponsorship levels for the celebration.
Quinn Ricci noted the committee may need to hire a website developer for the tricentennial online presence.
