BEDFORD — Taxation Aid Committee selects new co-chair and revises donation strategy. The panel unanimously elected Steven Wightman as Co-Chair alongside Sue Swanson, and voted to include a donation box slip with the second-quarter property tax bill rather than print a brochure. The Tax Aid Fund has raised $10,214.67 from 21 donors in fiscal 2026; the committee is also targeting at-home care providers for corporate sponsorships and planning outreach through the COA newsletter, local newspaper, and Bedford Day.

Both co-chairs will develop a fiscal 2027 budget for printing and publicity costs.
