BEDFORD — Taxation Aid Committee greenlights prior minutes and advances 2026 application cycle. The fund holds $2,214.67 following two new donations; the committee will launch August publicity in the Citizen, COA newsletter, and outreach to houses of worship and community service organizations. Co-Chair Sue Swanson will step down as chair but offered to co-chair next year, while member Amy Hamilton completed her three-year term and will not reapply, prompting recruitment for a replacement.

The Assessors' Office has begun fielding applicant inquiries as the committee refines eligibility criteria.
