BEDFORD — The Bedford Taxation Aid Committee unanimously adopted a $15,000 fundraising goal for 2026. Town Treasurer Christine Wedge reported the 2026 donation fund balance at just under $1,100, with an additional $8,448.66 from 2025 awards pending application to recipients' fourth-quarter tax bills. Co-Chair Steven Wightman will pursue matching pledges from larger corporate sponsors, while Amy Hamilton will contact local real estate agents about donations.

The committee will display fundraising progress using a thermometer-style graphic and review an updated program application at the February 23 meeting.
