Select Board reorganizes; police labor deal ratified

BEDFORD — Select Board reorganizes and ratifies police contract through 2029. Daniel Brosgol was unanimously elected Chair and Terrence Parker as Clerk at the board's March 23 meeting. All five members present voted 5-0-0 to ratify the Bedford Police Officers Association MOU for fiscal years 2027 through 2029.
In preliminary Town Meeting business, the board voted 3-2-0 to recommend approval of Article 26; Town Manager Matt Hanson recommended postponing the Prudent Investor Article. The board unanimously approved consent items including a sign permit for Planning Department Strategy Working Sessions and a one-day alcohol permit for a Family Seder.
