BEDFORD — Select Board approves Webber Avenue utility pole relocation; South Road conduit hearing continued. The Board unanimously granted Eversource's request to relocate a utility pole at 10 Webber Avenue, while postponing a separate hearing on South Road electrical work to April 13 pending Department of Public Works assessment of possible tree damage. The Board voted unanimously to rename the Disability Commission to Commission on Disability in alignment with state terminology standards.
Community Media Committee Chair Matthew Porter presented a recommended FY2027 PEG budget of $303,286, up 4.2 percent from FY26 and including $15,750 for ADA-required captioning equipment beginning April 2027.
