BEDFORD — Select Board approves $27.4M bond anticipation note and development fees deferral. The Board voted unanimously to issue a bond anticipation note at 4 percent coupon with a $411,975 premium, intended for conversion to bonds when interest rates improve. Treasurer/Collector Christine Wedge and Finance Director/Town Accountant Al Rego presented the borrowing strategy to accumulate capital programs.

In a separate vote, the Board deferred $129,490 in sewer connection and inflow/infiltration fees for the 1 Railroad Avenue mixed-use development, with all fees due prior to occupancy certificates, following Public Works recommendations consistent with past development approvals.
