Recreation Commission approves revolving fund for director salary.

BEDFORD — Recreation Commission backs revolving fund salary arrangement and green-lights facility studies. The commission unanimously approved continued 50 percent funding of Recreation Director Josh Smith's salary through the department's revolving fund at its January 6 meeting. Winter programming has grown to 75 youth activities and 17 new adult programs, including an adult Dodgeball league and a new Indoor Cricket partnership enrolling 30 children.

A six-month site analysis identified Wilson Field as the preferred location for a second turf field from among five town candidates. The Springs Brook Park master plan is ready for presentation to the Select Board.
