Recreation Commission approves prior minutes, hears positive Kids Club update.

Recreation Commission · Meeting of March 31, 2026

BEDFORD — Recreation Commission affirms strong program enrollment and unchanged Kids Club rates. Director Brendan McEvoy reported Kids Club fully staffed with excellent participation at both locations, staff trained well beyond state-mandated 20 annual hours, and summer programs beginning June 23. The Commission discussed replacing a storm-damaged shade structure and obtaining turf replacement quotes. All three recreation-related Community Preservation projects approved at town meeting — Springs Road Athletic Fields, fencing, and tennis and basketball lighting — advance to implementation.
