Historic Preservation Commission approves prior minutes, reviews Navy hangar plans.

BEDFORD — The Historic Preservation Commission unanimously approved its February 7 minutes and heard two project presentations without voting. Kevin Uniacke of UDA Architects and Rick Muse of Runway Realty outlined a plan to lease the Navy hangar to Merlin Labs, a developer of autonomous flight systems, and requested the HPC support a letter to the Massachusetts Historical Commission on the hangar's historic preservation work. Virginia Steel and Luca Kaskiewicz presented a mini-forest proposal for the Job Lane property, funded by Carleton-Willard Village.
The commission also advanced Article 56, a Tax Deferral Bylaw for renovated historic properties, for the upcoming Annual Town Meeting warrant.
