Historic Preservation Commission approves prior minutes, charts warrant article course.

BEDFORD — The Historic Preservation Commission unanimously approved prior minutes and advanced Article 56, a Tax Deferral Bylaw for renovated historic properties, to the Annual Town Meeting warrant. Chair Alethea Yates, along with Members John Linz, Jessie McAleer, and David Goldbaum, discussed the Michael Bacon House and heard that a Fletcher Road property has been sold to an LLC, which may trigger future demolition delay requirements. The commission will research Old Town Line signs that once marked the Concord-Billerica boundary, coordinate with Freedom's Way on May's Hidden Treasures program, and pursue a Bedford Springs history tour as community outreach.
Yates will investigate an email routing issue affecting board communication and verify all members have completed state ethics training.
