Historic District Commission discusses Prince Street Café project dormancy.

BEDFORD — The Bedford Historic District Commission discussed the Prince Street Café project at 36 North Road and agreed to request a completion date from owner Dana Strayton amid concerns about fence removal and project dormancy. Chair Salvatore Canciello, Vice Chair Alan Long, and Acting Clerk Karl Winkler were present; Karl Winkler directed outreach to the Building Department for project updates. The Commission also reviewed expanded HDC Guidelines intended to simplify language for applicants and address newly acceptable materials for windows, siding, and fences.
