BEDFORD — Hanscom Field Advisory Commission approves prior meeting minutes and taxiway project briefing. Massport managers Stephen Flecchia and Eli Bahrevar presented the two-phase Taxiway E reconstruction starting in August 2026: the 41-day west side project includes approximately 1,000 truck trips and runs weekends from 10:00 p.m. Friday through 2:00 p.m.
Sunday; the 21-day east side estimates 600 trucks at roughly 30 per day. Runway 11-29 will close for five construction weekends. Amber Goodspeed reported April 2026 operations between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. increased 9.8 percent year-over-year, with singles up 18.4 percent and jet operations up 4.1 percent; night operations declined 4.3 percent.
The commission voted 5-0 to send a letter to Governor Healey on immigration enforcement concerns.
