BEDFORD — Fire Station Building Committee approves Great Road retaining wall extension. The committee unanimously approved change order #20R1 for $335,859.01 for the wall extension, with additional costs of $75,000 for Eversource utility pole relocation and $45,000 for police details. Construction continues with apparatus bay metal deck installation underway and the second level concrete deck poured.
The committee has received 424 submittals with seven remaining open; six change orders have been approved to date. A site walkthrough is scheduled for April 13 before the regular 6 PM meeting.
