BEDFORD — Fire Station Building Committee okays $1,363 change order consolidating four construction adjustments. Chair Jeff Cohen and 12 committee members unanimously approved Change Order #8, which combines a $5,627 shelving credit, a $2,010 wall map credit, a $6,786 charge for slide pole box relocation with mechanical ductwork adjustments, and a $2,214 charge for plumbing line clashes requiring bathroom wall modifications. Construction progressed with rooftop unit delivery and installation, CMU wall completion on the first floor, and roof decking installation on Divisions 4, 5 and 6; plumbing inspection occurred May 13, with electrical inspections and building inspector review scheduled for early to mid-June.
