BEDFORD — Finance Committee reviews $53.6M school budget proposal for fiscal 2027 amid staffing cuts and fund drawdown. Superintendent Cliff Chuang and Director of Finance Julie Kirrane presented a budget reflecting a 3.08 percent increase over fiscal 2026, with three tiers of reductions and efficiencies totaling approximately $1.575 million in combined savings and up to 17.5 full-time position reductions.
