Fawn Lake to Close Monday for Herbicide Treatment
BEDFORD — Fawn Lake will close to public access on Monday, August 31, as the town's contractor applies herbicide to control aquatic vegetation in the lake.
TOWN HALL
The town's News Flash service announced the one-day closure this week, saying Fawn Lake is scheduled to be temporarily off-limits Monday for the herbicide application, part of routine aquatic vegetation management. Officials did not specify a reopening time. Two town boards also convene that same day: the Depot Park Advisory Committee and the Select Board, both meeting Monday evening at Town Hall.
COMING UP
Bedford's Recreation Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals both meet Thursday, August 27. On Monday, August 31, the Depot Park Advisory Committee holds its regular meeting, followed by the Select Board's 7 p.m. session in the Select Board Room.
