Council on Aging formulates advocacy questions for Town Manager

Council on Aging · Meeting of May 26, 2026

BEDFORD — Council on Aging prepares advocacy questions for Town Manager. Board members formulated questions for a June meeting with Town Manager Matt Hanson and Health and Human Services Director Heidi Porter focused on how the town considers seniors in planning and organizational pathways for advocacy. Board Chair Paul Fath confirmed both officials accepted.

The board also reviewed a draft outreach letter on medical rides and transportation needs, discussed possible three- to four-part series format and fall timing, and explored reaching homebound residents through community volunteers. A related Use of Space Agreement is pending revisions for June presentation.
