BEDFORD — Community Preservation Committee reviews $2.1 million in FY27 applications. The committee reviewed 16 projects totaling approximately $2.1 million during its January 8 meeting, with Assistant Town Manager Amy Fidalgo confirming the proposals will meet the town's minimum 10 percent funding requirements for open space, affordable housing, and historic preservation. Projects under consideration include athletic field rehabilitation, the Madi Lorde Sculpture Garden restoration, fire department historic artifact preservation, the Town Common refurbishment ahead of Bedford's 300th Anniversary, and multiple recreational facility and trail infrastructure improvements.
The committee will hold a public hearing on January 22, 2026.
