Community Preservation Committee approves $2.5M in spring projects

Bedford Community Preservation Committee recommends $2.5 million in Spring 2026 preservation projects. Chair Erin Dorr led the committee through a unanimous approval of the $2,546,690 appropriation for initiatives including archival preservation, library and fire station repairs, historic signage, and athletic field improvements. The committee met via remote participation and opened a public hearing with no public comment.
Assistant Town Manager Amy Fidalgo will prepare detailed presentation materials for three highlighted initiatives: the Municipal Affordable Housing Trust, Town Common refurbishment, and Springs Brook Park field redesign.
