Committee narrows Willson Park design constraints to two essentials

BEDFORD — Ad Hoc Willson Park Committee narrows intersection design requirements down to two essentials. The committee, chaired by David Manugian, finalized design constraints for the Willson Park intersection project after discussion narrowed what had become an expansive preliminary list. The two essential requirements are that the project cannot directly impact abutting buildings or structures and must demonstrate improvements across all modes of transportation, though the degree of improvement need not be equal.

The committee also organized a presentation table for the town meeting and scheduled consultant VHB to discuss traffic engineering analysis in May.
