Commission on Disability finalizes support for three ADA grant applications

BEDFORD — Commission on Disability approves three ADA grant applications and plans new community networking initiative. The commission approved final language for three FY27 Massachusetts Office on Disability grant-support letters, with Chair Sarah Blackman scheduled to submit them to Facilities Project Manager Erin Dorr for finalization. Members Vice-Chair Howard Sumner, Gyasi Burks-Abbott, and Amy Kelly supported the decision.

The commission also committed to launching a quarterly networking pilot program during fiscal 2027, featuring informal weekend gatherings for community members across all disabilities.
