Bedford Board of Health approves regulatory update. The board voted unanimously 4-0-0 to adopt consolidated Rules and Regulations reflecting recent state Biosafety changes at its February 2 meeting. Health staff reported 75 confirmed influenza cases in December, with 55 among residents under 18.

During discussion of a proposed charter revision, board members expressed concern about changing appointment language from "approval" to "consultation" for department head hiring, conceding only on supervision and termination authority.
