Bedford Board of Assessors approves March motor vehicle excise tax abatements. The board unanimously approved a $8,150.47 motor vehicle excise tax abatement package for March 2025 and processed supplemental property tax warrants totaling $2,962.62 following conversion of 23 Winterberry from tax-exempt to taxable status. Assessor Rick Ladd reported recent staff retirements and flagged articles 19 and 21 in the upcoming town warrant for board attention.
In executive session, members approved a real estate abatement reducing the valuation of 52-54 Middlesex Turnpike from $8,720,100 to $8,200,000.
