Bedford Bicycle Committee backs Ghost Bike memorial on Route 62. The committee unanimously supported keeping Tamar Vishlitzky's memorial at its current location unless construction requires temporary relocation, responding to a Traffic Advisory Committee question about moving the bike. Chair Peter Weichman showed photos of other Route 62 signs to argue the memorial is not uniquely distracting.
A Citizen survey showed the majority of residents opposed relocation, and the Concord branch of Mothers Out Front also voiced support for the memorial's placement.
