Bedford Sets Sept. 29 Forum On Fire Station's Future
BEDFORD — The town will hold an in-person public forum on September 29 to gather resident input on the future use of the fire station at 55 The Great Road, according to a notice posted to the town's website Monday.
TOWN HALL The forum on 55 The Great Road, the former fire station site, gives residents a chance to weigh in before any decision is made on what becomes of the building. No further detail on the format or the options under consideration was included in the town's announcement.
Separately, the town said its furniture reuse collection program is returning and expanding after a July 2026 pilot showed that many household items residents would otherwise throw out can instead be reused rather than sent to the landfill.
