Bedford Home Sales Range From $930,000 to $50.7 Million in Late Summer Period

Bedford recorded 20 property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, with 14 sales disclosing a price ranging from $930,000 to $50.7 million and a median of $1,222,750. The month's largest transaction was the $50.7 million sale of 240 South St., a commercial property transferred between two LLCs, which set it apart from the rest of the market, where disclosed prices clustered between $1 million and $1.5 million. Hayden Lane, Great Road and Mitchell Grant Way each saw two sales. At least four transfers moved property within the same family via trusts, a pattern common in deed records that does not reflect open-market activity.
